This high quality and tastefully decorated, generous holiday apartment in the third floor (51 square meters large) is outfitted with a modern bathroom with bathtub, a separate guest bathroom, an efficient built-in kitchen (ceran stove, oven, espresso machine, no dishwasher), and was extensively refurbished in summer 2009.
The spacious living / sleeping zone has been designed by an interior architect with pleasant, colourful accents and new flooring of solid Oak parquet, and new sanitary equipment by Duravit (design Philip Starck) to achieve a harmonious ambience. Up to four persons can easily be accommodated here. In addition to the large bed (160 x 200 cm) in the separate bedroom, a 160 x 200 cm fold-out couch is locate din the living room. The apartment is located in the quiet and residential Bosepark Quarter in Berlin’S popular Tempelhof-Schöneberg district and orients in both directions to free views into nature. On the west, balcony side one views onto a historic church complex, to the east side the view is to a listed historic villa. Lush trees, into which crowns you look from the apartment, grace both sides of the building.
The apartment lies within the historic village core of the former Templer Order monastery at Tempelhof. Here, three interlinked parks center around the half-timbered Tempelhof village church, one of Berlin’s oldest and most romantically located churches, five minutes from the apartment. A further highlight of the park network that is also perfectly suited for your daily jog in nature, are the large ponds here, formally the fish ponds of Tempelhof monastery, and today green oases in the midst of the metropolis.
Despite the green location the apartment is centrally located. You reach the main flaneur avenue Unter den Linden and Brandenburg Gate in 15 minutes by tube (U-Bahn). The next onramp to the inner city motorway German Autobahn network is also nearby, reached in 5 minutes by car. The new main train station at Südkreuz is a 15 minute walk away.
Shopping opportunities in the immediate vicinity include all shops for daily needs, several restaurants, and additionally a well-outfitted Karstadt department store is a 5 minutes walk, and the newly erected (200) large “Am Tempelhofer Hafen “ shopping centre a 10 minute walk from your apartment in Berlin.
